Hi there,
Recently, probably since Update to WP 6.0 and enfold 4.9.2.3:
A Portfolio Category has for Example 4 Portfolio.
When you click on the category, however, only 1 portfolio is displayed, obviously always the last one saved. All category assignments have been checked and are ok.
The problem currently exists in all portfolio categories.
solfMay 31, 2022 at 8:38 am #1353542Hey solf,
Thank you for the inquiry.
We are not yet sure what is causing that issue but it looks like only a single item acquires the category string and it gets duplicated based on the number of entries listed in the page that belongs to the active category sort. For example, if there are 4 items listed in the page that belongs to the active category sort, the item that shows acquires 4 category strings or class names.
<div data-ajax-id="22685" class=" grid-entry flex_column isotope-item all_sort no_margin post-entry post-entry-22685 grid-entry-overview grid-loop-1 grid-parity-odd push-travel-trolley_sort push-travel-trolley_sort push-travel-trolley_sort push-travel-trolley_sort av_one_fourth first default_av_fullwidth " style="position: absolute; left: 0px; top: 0px;">
As you can see, the portfolio item 19/90 Monorail Push Travel Trolley contains the class name push-travel-trolley_sort, which has been repeated 4 times.
Did you modify anything in the theme files?

Thank you for the info.
Unfortunately, we are still unsure why the category sort is not working correctly. Can we deactivate the plugins temporarily? We may need to access your file server in order to debug the issue further. Please post the S/FTP details in the private field.

Deactivating the plugins didn’t help and we tried to debug the issue directly in the portfolio.php file but we cannot figure out what is causing the issue. We have forwarded the issue to our channel.
You may need to temporarily disable the sorting option by adjusting the Content > Sorting > Sortable settings.
Thank you for your patience.

The sorting works fine when the plugins are deactivated — works properly on our local installation as well. Unfortunately, we are not yet sure which plugin is actually causing the issue. Please try to deactivate all plugins, then activate them again one at a time to find the one that is causing the error.
Thank you for your patience.

IsmaelJune 9, 2022 at 4:31 pm #1354685My login data are unfortunately no longer valid – but what i see is that the sort filter which is noticed as a class on the grid-entry goes to one element only – and is not set on each entry it belongs to.
The count for that sort filter is f.e. 9 – then that class will be added 9-times to one entry – after click event.June 10, 2022 at 3:47 am #1354744Hi,

@ Guenni007: Yes, we noticed that too. It works fine when the plugins are deactivated and we were not able to reproduce the issue on our local installation. Thanks for checking.

IsmaelJune 10, 2022 at 8:45 am #1354759Now my login datas are good – i think it was the WPML Update that solves the problem.
