I have used Enfold for years and LOVE IT.

I have some suggestions for new ideas. Do you have a forum or someone I can send my suggestions to?

    Thanks

    Hi Colin,

    Thanks for using Enfold :-)

If you have any suggestions for us, then please post them here.

    Best regards,

I create quite complex pages so rather than altering the responsive settings on each element I place all the same elements together in a COLOUR SECTION.

This works well except for two limitations:

Full Screen and Full Width sliders can’t be put into the section.
I have successfully manually adding the script to open and close the section so the only problem seems to be in the actual implementation on the back end.

For super complex pages it is difficult to navigate the backend so perhaps the Colour Sections could be COLLAPSABLE?

Currently images in galleries have to be chosen and styled individually.
I would like to have a DYNAMIC GALLERY that you could include only the images with certain criteria…

Date region – last 2 weeks etc
words in title – IE BLUE
words in description – fun, pink, pretty, PATTERNS

So for this example I would put the search criteria as BLUE and PATTERNS

If you click on any of the images you get a link at the bottom taking you to the actual page of the pattern design.

Currently I use the description field in my images to manually add the script to link another page below the image when seen in the Lightbox.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the suggestions.

Full width elements cannot be added to Color Sections, since all content within Color Sections are displayed within the contain width. Why would you need to add sliders into Color Sections?

Collapsable Color Section; I’m guessing that you are referring to the backend? If so, then that is possible already. You can collapse it by clicking the up triangle next to the X on the right hand side, when hovering over the element.

Dynamic Galleries; that is not possible at the moment in the them, but it might be added in a future version. Until then, maybe there is a plugin which will add that functionality for you?

    Best regards,

    Hi Rikard,

I think you are perhaps in fix-it mode rather than new ideas that might be helpful.

I am using Colour Sections as a way to group elements together – into a folder if you like. So YES I do want to put full screen sliders into this folder.

The Collapsable Colour section tip is great thank you!

The dynamic galleries would work in a similar way to the Portfolio Grid where it would display the images depending on what categories they are in. Or perhaps like having Tags in posts. Maybe something to think of for the future.

    See you.

    Hi,

Thanks for the update, we appreciate the suggestions for sure. Making Color Section able to hold other full width elements will likely not be added, but a new element in the Layout Builder might be added in the future for that purpose.

Posts can be queried by tags and categories, but since media attachments don’t have those, then I think this feature will be difficult to implement unfortunately.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
