    Hi,

    I’m new to the theme and wondered the best way to update it?

    I just got an email saying there was an update, Version 4.9.2.3 according to the changelog so I went to “Enfold > Theme update” and it says i’m running the latest version already “4.9.2.2”.

    I believe it checks automatically every 12 hours so I click “Check Manually” which took me to the WordPress admin page that checks everything for updates:
    https://www.pissedoff.uk/wp-admin/update-core.php?force-check=1

    This also said everything was up to date.

    I could download the latest version from ThemeForest and update it manually but am I not supposed to be able to update it automatically through WordPress?

    Hi Paul,

    Did you register your theme license, and did you add a token to the backend? If not, then please refer to this: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/

    If you should still have problems after that, then please try to install and configure this plugin: https://envato.com/market-plugin/

    Hi Rikard,

    Yeah, I registered the token previously and it was confirmed in the Theme Update section of the Enfold theme section but not showing any updates as available.

    I’ve downloaded that plugin, created a new token and then it showed an update for the theme in WordPress updates (not in the Enfold theme).

    Could you just confirm this is what the plugin does? Ensures the theme update shows in the WordPress updates section?

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

    Yes, that is what the plugin does. For some reason, the default update process in the theme options doesn’t work on some servers, which is why we recommend the plugin. You can always update the theme manually via FTP if both processes are not working.
