Hi,
after we updated Amazon Pay to the latest version it stopped working. Our customers get an error message and can’t checkout.
We enabled the default theme Storefront and with that theme it works fine. Also with the newest Enfold version it works. But when we enable the newest version of Enfold we get a lot of theme related issues. We are already checking them in this thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/fix-issues-after-theme-update/
Is there a way that we can use the latest version of Amazon Pay in combination with our current theme version?
The update to Amazon Pay v2 is mandated by Amazon. Unfortunately using the current version is not an option.
Best regards

I was helping you with most of the problems in your other thread, and I have yet to find any problems caused by the theme on your site. All of your problems in the other thread seems to be plugin related. Maybe you could try fixing the problems on your staging site, then push it to your live site once you are done?

thank you for the quick feedback. Today I talked with our client and they said it would be too much work to fix all the issues caused by the theme update.
Thats why I should check the Amazon Pay issue separately. I was only able to place an order with Amazon Pay if I change the theme to Storefront, with the Child theme of Enfold is not possible. All other plugins were disabled. So it must be caused by the theme.
Best regards
April 8, 2022 at 6:33 pm #1347746Hi,
It might be the theme, but I can’t really say for sure unless we can see the actual problem. Next time you might want to update a bit more frequently, instead of waiting almost 5 years.

which information do you need form me to check the issue further in detail? Access to the staging, screenshots, issue description, etc.?

April 11, 2022 at 9:39 am #1347917Hi,
Thanks for the update. We would need to at least be able to see the problem happening on an actual site, it doesn’t really matter where. If you have screenshots and step by step instructions, then that would help too.

Thanks for the update. Which version of jQuery are you running on the site? If it’s not 3.3.2, then please try switching to that.

RikardApril 12, 2022 at 9:39 am #1348062Hi Rikard,
do you have any idea how to check or change the jQuery version? Would you suggest this plugin to change the version: https://wordpress.org/plugins/version-control-for-jquery/ ?
Best regards
April 13, 2022 at 11:09 am #1348204Hi,
It looks like you are running 3.3.2 now, but when I click the Amazon pay button on the checkout page, nothing happens. Is that what you are seeing on your end as well? You could try this plugin to change the jQuery version which WordPress uses: https://wordpress.org/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper/
Best regards,
Rikard -
