    Maybe the purchase was made by a previous web developer for my client — so if the client can’t find the purchase code, I’m willing to buy a new license. If I do that, how do I install it over the previous version (4.51)? I’m happy to give you the login details, if that will help us.

    Hey Michael Odza,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    You will have to update the theme manually via FTP just this once. After the manual update, you have to generate an Envato private token using the new account and place that token in the Enfold > Theme Update panel. You will then be able to automatically update the theme through the dashboard when new versions are available. Please check the following documentation for more info.

    I am having trouble locating the right folder and files at my client’s host. Can I pay you ($50, I think I saw) to do the install? Login credentials in the private content area.

    I created a new ftp account for bluehost — credentials and double-checked the website credentials and copied both to the private content area. I also included the license in text form.

    The first difficulty I’m having is when I go to Advanced/File Manager I don’t see the folder names listed in your instruction “Locate the WordPress installation folder and browse to wp-content/themes.” .Maybe it’s because there’s cpanel? And there’s a theme section — anyway, I am confused, and I very much appreciate your help!

    Thanks but the WordPress login and the cPanel login didn’t work for me please try creating a new WordPress admin user with a new password.

    Mike, Thank you! I created an Envato personal token, and got confirmation that the parent Enfold theme was updated to v4.9 — but I have to ask, what about the Child? Does that update automatically, or upon refresh?

    Hi,
    Glad to hear, child themes don’t update, the parent theme updates and it is the core of the site, the child theme runs on top of the parent theme adding your customizations to the parent theme.
