    Hi,
    I’m creating a new website with Enfold.
    Everytime I make a change and hit “Preview” it’s not reflecting the changes I made.
    Why is this happening?

    Hi pencefinancial,

    Thanks for giving us admin access.
    I tried to add some heading and textblock on your homepage (did not save) and hit Preview, it works properly.
    Also, the privacy policy which is in draft mode seems to show properly in Preview mode.
    Can you give us steps on how we can reproduce the issue you mentioned?

    Hi Nikko,

    I apologize for the confusion. Right after I posted this topic, I re-installed the theme and at the beginning everything works fine. As I’m working this issue comes up repeatedly. Would you check again? It’s the homepage. It’s not reflecting the current update when I hit Preview.

    – I’ve tried clearing cache
    – I even reinstalled the theme
    – I reset my entire WordPress account to start over
    Nothing worked.

    And eventually the issue will spread to other pages as well.

    I would like to verify if it’s the Hello and Click here to add your own text showing on the preview that you’re referring?

    Hi Nikko,

    Yes, that is the correct one.
    There is only one page thats titled “Homepage”. It is that one.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update and clarification. I moved the content of your home page to a test page, and it seems to be working as it should on the new page. Could you try using that instead please?

    Yes, but moving to another page doesn’t solve the issue. This will happen again in other pages. Do you know why this is happening? Does your theme have a bug?

    Also, the new page you created is not exactly the same as the existing homepage. I really need the homepage to correctly function.

    I checked out the test page you created for me “Kries test” and the same problem is reoccurring.

    What happens if you change your site URL and location to https on the page in private?

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. I checked your site again, and there seems to be some problems with the block editor not validating some of the shortcodes. I’m not sure exactly why that is, but switching to the classic editor on the main page of the theme options seems to be working. Could you check and verify that on your end too please? If you would like to keep on using the block editor, then we can try to investigate further why these particular shortcodes are not validating.

    Switching to classic editor did not solve the problem Would you investigate further please. Even if so, our team cannot use classic editor. We are all streamlined for block editor.

    Your theme may have a bug because I’m experiencing this in another one of our sites housed in a different server.

    Hi pencefinancial,

    We apologize for the delayed response.
    I tried to check again, the issue doesn’t seem to show up again even when the Block Editor is used again.
    Also, tested this on my local server and it doesn’t happen on my end.
    Are there some specific changes (or steps or elements added) that you do that trigger the issue? so we can try to reproduce it and report it to our devs.
