    Hi
We have the following problem with Enfold and WPML.
We create a contribution in the main language (german) and all it’s fine.
Then we translate it into the second language (french).
Almost all is fine, but the footer is broken and looks very strange.
See details in the private content section.
We already copied the contribution or created it new from scratch but there was always the same problem.
    Thanks very much.
    Best regards
    Mike

    Hey Michael,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

For some reason, the translated page is set to use the classic editor instead of the advance layout builder, which is why the contents including the footer were contained and restricted in a default container. Updating the page fixed the issue.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael
So, you opened the translated contribution, changed the editor, saved and then it was fine?
But that never happened before… could this be a problem between Enfold and WPML?
    Thanks very much.
    Best regards

    Hi,

    Thank you for the update.

The Advance Layout Builder (ALB) is actually active when we edited the page but for some reason, it is still using the default template instead of the template-builder.php file. We had to access the ALB and update the page manually. We are not really sure why the ALB status was not active in that particular page. Is this happening on a lot of pages?

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hi Ismael
This was the first time that this was happening.
But we deleted the contribution three times and created it new and every time this was happening.
    Best regards
    Mike

    HI Ismael
Yes. Perhaps the problem was the following.
Another user created a contribution with the default WordPress editor.
We deleted it and created a new contribution with the Advanced Layout-Builder with same name.
    Perhaps this was the problem?
I think you can close this issue. If it occurs again we will contact you.
    Best regards
    Mike

    Hi Mike,

Did you completely trashed the deleted post before creating the page with the same name? It could be the cause of the issue but we can’t be sure. We will close this thread for now. Let us know if the issue occurs again.

    Best regards,
    Ismael
