We recently purchased the latest theme 4.8.9 to update an older site v. 4.2.6 we just took over managing.
The theme editor was broken with an html error…
Steps taken:
1. We save theme settings.
2. Created a Staging site and duplicated site.
3. Created a child theme
4. Updated the child with theme settings. All styles were the same.
5. Updated WP to latest version
6. Loaded new theme files via ftp
7. Activated child.
The styles changed. Header, Menu and some areas in blocks disappeared.
8. Re-uploaded theme styles.. no change.
Site staging links and access sent private …
Please advise.February 11, 2022 at 9:19 am #1340105Hey alisamierzejewski,
Thanks for the login details. The theme has changed a lot since the version you updated from, and everything is not backwards compatible. Could you try to change your settings again to see if that helps please? You can change your menu items in the theme settings, and header styling can be change either in the element options, or globally under either Enfold->Advanced Styling or General Styling->Typography. Transparence options can be changed under Enfold->Header->Transparency Options.
Best regards,

I can see updates affecting some theme blocks.. but not font styles..
I saw no custom css in the original ..
Questions:
There is a font on the original site.. proxima-nova not sure where I can add the font family inside the theme.. ? Does not show
inside the theme.. So, starting to re-style things..
And not able to figure out where the font styles are in the menu area “after the scroll” ?Thanks

February 12, 2022 at 9:19 am #1340247Hi,
Thanks for the update. If uploading the settings file didn’t work the first time, then it will likely not work the second time either. I’m asking you to make the settings manually again, to see if that helps? The menu style after scroll, should be the default settings in the theme, the ones which are not under Transparency Options. You can upload fonts under Enfold->Import/Export.
Best regards,
Rikard -
