    Hi Enfold team

    I’m still using version 4.8.3 of your excellent theme and I’m wondering if I should upgrade (fear of breaking the site which is currently working well).

    Is there a big risk of having problems after having done an update more than 8 months since the last update.

    I upgraded to php 8.0 and some bugs appear. Is it normal ?

    Hi Nat,

    Updating anything on your site should always be taken seriously, that’s why we recommend that you always update on a staging/development site first. If you don’t run into any problem there, then you should be able to update your live site safely.

    I’m not sure what problems you have run into, but I would recommend that you update to the latest version of the theme, so see if that fixes the problems: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/install-enfold-theme/#theme-update/
