After an update of Enfold, my header logo and menu disappeared from my home page, but are still visible on my other pages. Under “Header visibility and transparency”, in the layout section of the page called “home”, I had selected the option “Header is invisible and appears once the user scrolls down”. This worked before, but not anymore.
I found a related post in the forum, #1307029, that stated that the Header settings in the theme customizations had to be set to “Sticky Header” to work. But this is already the case for my website. I can’t figure it out and would appreciate some help, thanks!

Hey martinjuergens,
Thanks for the login, but you are using a very old version of Enfold v4.0.5 which is not designed to work with WordPress v5+
So you will need to manually update because the update API from that version no longer works.
To update your version of Enfold you will need to download the latest version from your Theme Forest account and upload it to your WordPress ▸ Appearance ▸ Themes ▸ Add Themes ▸ Add New
after you choose the zip file and click install, you will see a This theme is already installed message because you are updating, you can continue
then you will see the Theme updated successfully message.
Best regards,
Mike
Dear Mike, that worked! I’m always a little wary of updates, but I realise now that this one was inevitable.
Thanks so much for your quick support – on a Sunday :-)
