Hi,
there is a bug inside the german translation files that brings errors (wrong external links) to every page using ReCAPTCHA.
Source:
This site is protected by reCAPTCHA and the Google <a href="https://policies.google.com/privacy">Privacy Policy</a> and <a href="https://policies.google.com/terms">Terms of Service</a> apply.
Translation:
Diese Webseite ist durch Google reCAPTCHA geschützt. Es gelten die <a href="https://policies.google.com/privacy">Datenschutzrichtlinie</a> und die <a href = "https://policies.google.com/terms.com geschützt ">Nutzungsbedingungen</a>.
The “geschützt” inside the href for “Terms of Service” is wrong and should be deleted.
Hey,
Thanks for contacting us!
Which version of Enfold are you using? If not the latest 4.8.9, could you please update the theme and check if that helps?
I checked German language files in the latest version of the theme however HTML does not seem to be broken.
Regards,
Yigit
Hello Yigit,
We are using the latest version (4.8.9) and the problem still exists. Just have a look at the PO file (en_DE_formal.po).
When I run a link checker, it appears in the code. Does JavaScript remove the reCAPTCHA code? If I look directly in the source code, I can’t find it either. But in the translation files it definitely shows up.
With kind regards
