It often happens on my blog that the media or content plugins deactivate themselves. I think it mainly happens when you start editing a post with the Enfold Editor and then close the tab. It doesn’t only affect the edited post but totally random articles or pages, the Message says the the Media/Content is “Disabled in the theme settings”

To fix the problem you have to open and save each article, then it works again.

    Wordpress: 5.8.2
    Enfold 4.8.5
    PHP: 7.3.33-1+0~20211119.91+debian10~1.gbp618351
(the problem already existed in prior WP and Enfold versions)

    Hey sunburst90,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

You have to update the theme to the latest version (4.8.8.1), and make sure that the “Disable the blog” option is not enabled in the Enfold > Performance > Disable Features panel. Let us know if that helps.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

    Hello Ismael,

Unfortunately, updating the theme and updating to the latest wordpress version didn’t help.

It is very strange that when I edit post A, some Enfold elements in posts B, C and D deactivate. The message like on the screenshot appears. I have to manually check all posts to see if they are affected and save them again, then everything works again.
(The Blog is not set to disabled)

I don’t have any particularly exotic plugins in use either:

    Hi,

Thanks for the update and screenshot. Could you try to select to always load all elements under Enfold->Performance->Disabling of template builder elements, to see if that helps please?

    Best regards,
    Rikard
