Is it possible to create a website (using Enfold theme) on a subdomain of my personal domain and move it to my client’s domain by the time of release?
That’s how I normally work; and I wonder if this is possible using Enfold (other themes)…
PS I don’t mind buying another version of the theme for my client, but still wonder it it will work…
(I’m a newbie on working with themes…)-

That should not be a problem, if you only intend to use the license temporarily on your development server.

Thanks for your fast reply!
I don’t want to run into surprises/trouble at the end of my developing process, so I just to be sure it will work: how will the servers / you know that it the license (and token for updates) are legally moved to the other server…? (Or: how can I be sure it will work?)

I would suggest that you don’t register the license in question until you have moved it to the permanent location. After you have done that, then please follow this: https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/. It’s fine to use a license on a development server, without registering it.

I’ll probably buy more Enfold licenses in the future, but don’t need it for my own domain…December 3, 2021 at 3:45 am #1331375Hi,
Thanks for the update. I don’t think you should have any problem even though it’s already registered, but you should be able to manage your tokens in your Themeforest account? If not, then you can simply remove the token from your development site, then add it back once it’s in its permanent location.

I guess I don’t really understand what this token is for – it makes sure your theme is updated, no?December 3, 2021 at 10:38 am #1331435Hi,
Yes, that’s the basic functionality of the token. You will get notifications about updates on the backend if it’s added and configured properly.

Are there any options for return / a refund policy…? Or a second-hand/not-used marketplace ;) ?
It’s not an awful lot of money, but as a starting designer, I’m struggling to make ends meet…December 7, 2021 at 1:27 pm #1331844 -
