Colour section ok on preview – missing styling on publish

On the home page (site below) I have created a new purple colour section using the theme editor (currently I have hidden it to show on all screen sizes as the styling is all wrong).

Colour section is set to have a purple back ground, a green buttons that says DOWNLOAD and white writing (however only white space, white writing and a white button appears on the front end – so looks blank)

When I preview the styling shows as it should but when I publish the styling does not work at all – any ideas why this is happening. It worked no problem a few days back when creating a colour section on another page
