    Hello, I have a client who is using Enfold 3.8.4 and can’t upgrade to a newer version of PHP because the theme won’t allow it, assuming due to how old the version is.

    Questions:

    1) Does he have to purchase a current version (I don’t see and upgrade option on the installed theme in WordPress), and if so how much is it?

    2) Will upgrading from 3.8.4 to a current version cause the site to go “wonky”?

    1. If he has still access to the account in Themeforest used to buy Enfold, then he can download the latest version using that account, however, if he doesn’t have any access to that account then the only option is to purchase the Enfold theme in ThemeForest.     2. No, just make sure to disable any caching plugins when upgrading.
