    Hi,

We are getting fatal errors when editing pages with buttons:

An error of type E_ERROR was caused in line 742 of the file /home/xxx/public_html/xxx.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/buttonrow/buttonrow.php. Error message: Uncaught Error: Cannot unset string offsets in /home/xxx/public_html/xxx.com/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/buttonrow/buttonrow.php:742

    WordPress version 5.7.2
    PHP version 7.4.24

The website, theme/plugins are fully updated. Content is not missing after those error crashes. The error is not triggered every time when a page is updating. Our website is too busy to troubleshoot it disabling all plugins for a long time trying to catch those errors. What else I can do to fix it?

More info below, in the hidden field.

    Thanks.

    Hi Peter,

This is the first time this error is reported.
Can you create a staging site for us? and provide credentials, so we can try to investigate further on the issue.
Here’s a simple tutorial you can follow if you don’t have one yet: https://themeisle.com/blog/wordpress-staging-site/

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hi,

Thanks for that. I tried creating a test page, but it doesn’t seem to be able to activate the Layout Builder on a new page. Do you have an existing page where we can see this problem happening on? Also, are we allowed to temporarily deactivate plugins and themes?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hi,

Thanks for that. I tried updating that page a few times, but it seems to working as expected on my end. Is there anything in particular that we need to do in order to reproduce the problem you are seeing on your end?

    Best regards,
    Rikard

Did you try to edit the button row settings? Looks like the error was triggered there.

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. I tried editing a few settings in the Button Row, and I added a new button, but I still can’t see any problems on my end when updating the page. Do you have step by step instructions on how to reproduce this problem?

    Best regards,
    Rikard
