    Hello,

    We have a company website, which is using the Enfold Theme, which when trying to update shows the following:
    (No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.2.5)

    On your website I have seen that this update is very old, i have tried adding the API from themeforest and updating it but it shows only the message above.

    The problem is that with this update when i try to upgrade to PHP 8.0 this website doesn’t work anymore because the Theme crashes.

    Now my question is how do I update to the latest version… do I have to rebuy it?
    The current version was installed by someone else and I do not have that theme shown on the themeforest account i use now.

    Hey Peter,

    Thanks for contacting us!

    Envato has updated their API and replaced API keys with Personal Tokens. We have implemented those changes in Enfold 4.5 so any version older than requires a manual update first.

    Please update Enfold to the latest version – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/ and then refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#how-to-generate-a-envato-personal-token and generate a Personal Token to receive auto updates.

    I am afraid you would need to have an access to ThemeForest account that was used to purchase the theme in order to have access to update theme. Please try to contacting the person who have purchased it for you. If that is not going to be possible, you would need to purchase a new license unfortunately.

    Hello Yigit,

    I have finally bought the new License of Enfold on Themeforest, and connected the Themeforest account via a Personal Token with all the rights, yet when I click on Theme Update no new update is shown!?

    How do I update the Theme now?

    Hi,

    As I mentioned in my previous reply, Enfold versions older than 4.5 requires a manual update first as we have implemented updated Envato API in that version – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/

    If you would like us to update the theme for you, please register to our forums – https://kriesi.at/support/register/, have a backup and post temporary FTP and WP admin logins here privately :)
