    @Nikko I am having the same issue as a lot of Envato users seem to be having. However, all of your support responses are private and/or your team is performing fixes directly on people’s websites, so there isn’t anything I can see to resolve the problem ourselves.

    We use Enfold with a child theme, which works fine with Enfold 4.8.6.3 as the parent. However, when we update to Envato 4.7.6.4 we get the following PHP error and the site doesn’t load:

    Hey caribou-digital,

    It would be great if we could access the site which you are having problems with, but all of the moderators have dynamic IPs, so I’m not sure if it’s possible? Would you be able to copy the site to a staging site which we can access?

    If you want to do some debugging yourself, then please try disabling all plugin, and activate the parent theme, to see if that changes anything. Also please let us know which PHP version you are running.

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update. I see that you are currently running version 4.7.6.4, which version is giving you these problems? Does it work if you use version 4.8.6.3?

    No, it does not work when we have Enfold 4.8.6.3 as the parent theme.

    Hi caribou-digital,

    Please update to Enfold 4.8.6.4, all the fixes made on other user with the same issues are added on the latest version.

    I just tried the latest version 4.8.6.5 that was released today and I get the following error:

    I have checked your site and it still is 4.7.6.4, please check the screenshot link in private content.
    Older theme files might be fetched instead.

    You are correct the site is still using 4.7.6.4 as the parent theme because when I switch to the updated versions the site has a critical error and doesn’t load. That’s the entire reason why I started this thread. I’m not going to leave the website broken and inaccessible, so I reverted to the version of Enfold that we had been using prior to updating.
