    I have selected to show only H2 headings in a sidebar widget.

    After updating to 4.8.6.3, If I add a “Special heading” content element it shows normally in the sidebar TOC widget. BUT, when adding a normal H2 element to a text block ( for example <H2>Test title</H2> ) , that heading will not show up in the TOC widget in the sidebar. If I manually add a custom class to a H2 heading element via text mode ( for example: <H2 class="pagetitle">Test title</H2> ), the heading WILL show up in the TOC widget.

    Before the update, in Enfold 4.8.1, TOC widget also shows plain H2 heading elements in the sidebar TOC widget even when they don’t have custom class. I have confirmed that the existing sidebar TOC widget content without custom classes disappear when doing no other changes besides updating the theme.

    Could you please look into this. Our site is in coming soon mode, it has not yet been published. Site preview info is in private content.

    Hey!

    Sorry for the problems. Seems to be jQuery 3.x related (or WP 5.8.1) as we did not change anything with TOC.

    But we could fix it.

    Please update

    enfold\js\avia-snippet-widget.js

    with contents of

    https://github.com/KriesiMedia/enfold-library/blob/master/temp_fixes/Enfold_4_8_6_3/js/avia-snippet-widget.js

    Do not forget to make a backup of the file for a fallback and clear server and browser cache.

    If you need help let us know and we can do it for you.

    Fix is already part of the next update.

    Guys, following this as I have the same problem. Here’s a link to my staging site, I even added a new Shortcode to the post to see if that did it with Blocks and nothing.

    Many thanks for the fix, it is working perfectly now! I had to disable script and css merging and compression in the theme performance options to see the results in the front end.
