    Hello,
    I would like to use a Latest Post widget in the footer, but with the posts ordered randomly so that in each page a visitor visit he will see different content, not always the same. But I don’t see an easy way to do it
    I see this topic https://kriesi.at/support/topic/sidebar-widget-latest-news-random-sort/, but it requires to edit a theme file and I would like to avoid doing that
    Is there a way to do it?

    Hey profumopuntoit,
    Try installing the Widget Options plugin, then add multiple Enfold Latest News widgets to your footer. This widget allows you to choose which categories you want to display, then with the plugin you and choose which categories, taxonomies, pages, or posts to show them on.

    so with this combination and multiple widgets they should not see the same content over many pages.

    Thank you Mike,
    I am already using Widget Options plugin and, together with another very handy plugin, Display Posts, I managed to have custom sidebars for each category (with images) and random widgets

    [display-posts post_type=”page” category=”la-catena-doro” posts_per_page=”4″ image_size=”widget” orderby=”rand” wrapper=”div” wrapper_class=”display-posts-listing image-left”]
