Hey guys,
i dont find a fit slider to realise my designed author slider. Maybe you can tell me that?
This slider should link to the respective author page and I want to add a custom image for each author slider item.Is this possible with enfold? It would be disappointing if not :/

the Content Slider is not the right thing because I need the option to set the displayed images and links by myself. The content slider just show up all posts by an author. Thats not that what I want. You know what I mean?
August 24, 2021 at 5:45 am #1318068Hi,
Thanks for the update. I don’t really know what you mean unfortunately, could you try to explain what you are looking for a bit further please? If it’s not available in the theme by default, then you might have to look for a third party plugin or code to implement the functionality you are looking for.
Best regards,
RikardAugust 25, 2021 at 9:16 pm #1318341Yeah sure,
i need a slider that looks like the post slider where i can influence the image and the link behind it. Accordingly, the slider should not automatically display any posts. I would like to use this slider as a kind of author introduction. Each author has their own picture with their name. If you click on his picture, you will be taken to his normal WordPress author page (for example).
Is this possible with Enfold?
You now know what I mean?

Thanks for the update. You should be able to do that with the Content Slider element, please try it out. If you need more specific help with styling for example, then let us know here.

September 1, 2021 at 4:18 am #1319268Hi,
Thanks for the update, and sorry for the late reply. What exactly do you need help with? If you want to link an image in the Content Slider, then please add it to the content of the slide in question, then link it when you select it from the WordPress gallery.
Best regards,
RikardSeptember 11, 2021 at 12:29 am #1320470Hey Rikard,
I misunderstood you. I always meant the post slider – and you meant the content slider too. Upsi!
I achieve my goal now – thank you!
But the responsive design in tablets or smartphone isnt very nice.
What do you have to do to make the slider look like the desktop but with fewer elements the smaller the display gets and not like this which you can see in my screenshot?- This reply was modified 3 years, 2 months ago by coolicious.
September 13, 2021 at 5:05 am #1320623Hi,
Thanks for the update. I’m not sure if that would be possible, but send us a link to where we can see the actual slider, and we’ll try to find a solution for you.

look at the private content.
Thanks!
September 26, 2021 at 6:18 am #1322322Hi,
Thanks for that. If you want a different layout for mobile and tablet, then you can copy the element in question, and configure it according to your preferences in the new element. You can hide/show the correct element in the Advanced->Responsive tab in the element options.

RikardSeptember 26, 2021 at 1:34 pm #1322347Hey Rikard,
sry, but this isnt a nice solution that the Enfold theme give us. The result of your solution is that the same content will be loading three times (desktop, tablet, mobile) which is suboptimal for fast site performances.
Responsivness is the biggest weakness of Enfold and everytime a big chaos to fix it…
