To whom it may concern,
I am not sure what happened but my single blog posts used to have displayed the title with a separator and also the social share icons. For some reason now everything has disappeared.
Can you kindly look into this for me please?

Thanks for giving us admin access.
I have checked your posts and since you are using the Advanced Layout Builder, everything shown in the body of the page is added and controlled manually, those things are removed only shows when Default Editor is used.
You can just add those elements via Advanced Layout Builder, for the title, use the Special Heading.Best regards,

August 9, 2021 at 2:20 pm #1315856Hi Nikko,
So I am setting the Blog Layout to “Use the advanced layout” which the blog archive is working fine, but when I click on a category to have all posts in that category displayed, the posts are being displayed in a list not in a grid layout. Is there a way where I can set the category blog posts to a grid layout please?
Regards
August 12, 2021 at 2:22 pm #1316452Hi FamalcoGroup,
I apologize for the delayed response.
I checked your blog page and I could see two blogposts, one for desktop (grid) and other for tablet and mobile versions (list) and both are using Blog Posts element, are you referring to this?
Grid version displays properly, so I’m not sure about the issue, can you give us more context?Best regards,
NikkoAugust 13, 2021 at 1:47 pm #1316623Hi Nikko,
So as you can see from the video, the blogs page is being displaye dina grid which is good as thats what I want.
The problem is when I click on the category. When I click on a category instead of being displayed with that category’s posts in a grid, they are being displayed in a list view dsisplaying the full post.
How can I change the category view to a grid please?
Regards

I see, I have checked your Blog Layout and this is selected: Use the advance layout editor to build your own blog layout (simply edit the page you have chosen in Enfold->Theme Options as a blog page), Enfold copies the layout selected except for this one which reverts to default.
To make the category pages use Grid Layout, please add this code at the bottom of your child theme’s functions.php file (I tried to add it via Theme Editor but it’s not allowing me to add it, try to add this via FTP):add_filter('avf_blog_style','avia_change_category_blog_layout', 10, 2); function avia_change_category_blog_layout($layout, $context){ if($context == 'archive') $layout = 'blog-grid'; return $layout; }
Best regards,
NikkoAugust 16, 2021 at 12:48 pm #1316947Hi Nikko,
Thank you for this.
The only that not working though is the read more button. After I copied that code you sent me and tested, the grid works fine but the posts are missing the read more button as I have in the main blogs archive page.Regards
August 17, 2021 at 5:48 am #1317058Hi,
Thank you for the update.
You can include this filter in the functions.php file to display back the read more button in the category or archive pages.
add_filter("avf_post_slider_args", function($atts) { $atts["contents"] = "excerpt_read_more"; return $atts; }, 10, 1);
Best regards,
