    Hi everyone,

    I put a video in the color section on my website and since I disabled the preload function of the theme (because the site loads too long) the section first shows a black background, than any picture of the video and than, if it is loaded, the right video.

    Is there any solution to fix it? I thought of adding a preview image until the video has loaded? But I just found this option when I have a video element not a color section.

    I have the same issue, and I like to change the Black colour pre-loading to white.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the inquiry, and quite sorry for the late response.

    Are you using a Youtube video? Try to upload the video in your server and host it locally. You can also use Vimeo. Unfortunately, the preview image is a default Youtube feature, so we will not be able to prevent it from appearing.

    Hi Ismael,

    thanks for your answer. Actually I’m using a vimeo video. The video is too big to upload it at my page directly.
    But actually I like to set a preview image, because as I said in my question above vimeo takes any picture while loading the video. But I want to define a preview picture and I want the black backround disappeared. So this is not possible in a colorsection background video?

    We are not really sure if it is possible to set thumbnails for Vimeo videos and show it before the player starts, but we have found the following articles, which might help.
