    The Yoast video plugin is not working correctly.
    Their support wrote to me:

    By default, the Yoast plugin only analyzes the default WordPress content areas like the title, URL, and the main content box (WordPress editor). If you are adding your content through other plugins or theme content boxes (as most page builders do), the Yoast plugin might not be able to detect it.

    In the past, we have tried to parse shortcodes and other content boxes with inferior results. Therefore, we opted to provide plugin and theme developers with an API that they can use to pass their content to our page analysis.

    If you are using a page builder that doesn’t send their content to our page analysis, please reach out to the developer and ask them about adding the functionality to their code.     Can the enfold team do this? And would they want to do this?

    Hi Karl,

    What exactly is not working with the plugin in question? Enfold uses shortcodes to create content, it is therefore not included in the areas they are listing. I can pass the link you sent on to our developers, but I can’t promise or say that it’s possible to include the content created by the Enfold layout builder into Yoast.

    Hi Rikard,

    thanks for helping me.
    The plugin should find videos on pages and post an build an xml-File.
    But it does not find any videos in enfold.

    Hi Karl,

    Thanks for the update. I’ve spoken to our developers about this, and they have agreed to take a look at it. Since it’s a plugin compatibility problem, it might take some time for them to find a solution, if they are able to find one at all.
