I am currently trying to help my church out with a website issue. Their version of WordPress is very old and upon updating it, the Enfold theme became broken. The person who purchased the theme (through Themeforest.com) is not at home so they can not supply me with the original login for their purchase. So at this time, the site is broken and I’m thinking the only fix is to have the latest update to the Enfold theme. I know this isn’t support, but I can not login to support because I don’t have credentials.

If there is any way that you can confirm that the church has purchased the template and send me the latest version, I would really appreciate it.

I’ve supplied the website link below. I am going to restore the site to the old version of WordPress at some point today, but right now, the site is showing the broken code of the Enfold theme. I can supply screen grabs as necessary.

I know this is a long shot, but I have no other venue for help in the short term.

    Hey Mark,

    Thanks for contacting us!

Issue is definitely related to the very old version of Enfold theme you are using, 3.3.2. It is not compatible with your WordPress version. Downgrading WP version temporarily would fix the issue.

Unfortunately, the only way to verify the purchase is by having a purchase code. Please show this screenshot to the person who has purchased the theme so they can login on ThemeForest and find the purchase code and share it with you – https://kriesi.at/wp-content/uploads/2013/09/registration_steps.jpg

After that, please post your purchase code, WP and FTP logins here privately so we can update the theme for you :)

    Best regards,
    Yigit

    Hi,

Thanks for the update. The FTP login details you posted don’t seem to be working, please check and verify. Also, I see that you are running an old version of PHP on your server, do you have the option to upgrade to PHP 7.4 or higher? You might need to check this with your hosting provider.

    Best regards,
    Rikard

    Hey,

I updated Enfold to version 4.8.3. We are going to fix a few issues with 4.8.4 so I did not update to that version.

Also, your server is currently running PHP version 5.6.40. Minimum recommended version of PHP for WordPress is 7.4. Please contact your server manager and ask them to upgrade PHP version.

    Please review your website :)

    Regards,
    Yigit

Everything is looking good with the new update. Thank you for your help. I’ll make sure to keep the purchase record handy for the next update.

    Hey,

    You are welcome!

You can refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#how-to-generate-a-envato-personal-token and insert Personal Token in Enfold theme options to receive auto updates. Please skip version 4.8.4 as we are going to fix a few issues and release 4.8.4.1 very soon. So please update to that version when it is available :)

If you have any other questions or issues, please register to our support forum – https://kriesi.at/support/register/ using your purchase code and start new threads under Enfold sub forum :)

    Best regards,
    Yigit
