Hello
our installation has 250 posts, 20 pages, thats all.
Tables in Database:
wp_posts: 7MB
wp_postmeta: 40 MB
This seems quite odd to me.There have never been any other theme installed nor any plugins which might explain this.
When i check other installations there is never this kind of misrelation between posts & meta.
Why & how to solve it?Martin

Have you tried using something like WP-Optimize to clean the database? Please use with caution. It will delete all post revisions and posts from the bin and spam folders.
I use this with every website I design. Helps lean up the database and keep things running smoothly.250 posts is quite a lot. I have a couple of Ecommerce sites that have breached a 200mb database but these have a few thousand products.

Could you post a link to your site so that we can have a closer look please? Thanks @thinkjarvis for helping out :-)

RikardJuly 16, 2021 at 7:26 pm #1310428A link to my website tells you something about my database?
How that?
MartinJuly 16, 2021 at 9:05 pm #1310434A link to your website will allow the support team to see what plugins and setup you have.
They can’t help you without it.
Some plugins create their own tables in the database which can bloat the database. Sometimes the way post data is stored can also increase the size of the database.

If you need further help with this, then please give us something to work with. Otherwise we can only guess.

if you really feel like being a mod i would appreciate if you would read first what the question is.July 25, 2021 at 10:30 am #1312190I was just trying to help out mate, I use Enfold daily and I check the forums every few days. If I see something I can provide input on I will comment.
Take a backup of your database and Give wp-optimize a try. I use it will all of my enfold sites including those that are just enfold, yoast and a few performance plugins.
Were the 250 posts imported from another system or wp install or were they created within the current installation?
