Tagged: header, Text block
**UPDATE*** I ended resolving the issue on my end. This can be ignored. I didn’t see a way to delete this forum post altogether otherwise I would have.
Hi, I have two issues I can’t figure out. Not sure if they’re related, but don’t think they are. I’m dealing specifically with the homepage.
1. When I adjust the Header Visibility and Transparency setting to “Header is invisible until user scrolls” the header does in fact disappear from the page, however it never reappears after scrolling. I’ve tested this on other pages as well and they have the same issue.
2. On the homepage, if I put a text block below the first color section, it does not appear on the page. I’ve inserted test text written as “Why isn’t this text showing?” and it does not appear on the live site. Though you can see that it exists when viewing the page’s source code. I’ve tested this on other pages and when I insert just the text block (not within a color section) it works fine and the text appears on the live site. So at the moment this appears to be an issue on just the homepage.
I noticed in the page code that after the first section the <main> element is closed and everything that follows lives outside the <main> element. That seems odd, so I’m not sure if that’s related to the issue.
I’ve provided the homepage is question plus credentials to login if that helps.
Thank in advance for helping.
I was able to figure this both issues. The first one was totally on me. I forgot to double check the Header settings in the theme customizations. It needed to be set to “Sticky Header” to work.
For the second issue, I had inherited the project and it appears in the custom CSS display:none was set for after the first section.
Please close this out. Thank you.
