We were asked to create a new thread: https://kriesi.at/support/topic/alternate-menu-not-displaying-text-burger-menu/.
We are running Enfold Version 4.8.3
Only the Primary Menu is showing no matter what menu I choose to make my alternate for mobile (secondary, footer, etc..). In our Child Theme Functions.php we Register a new WordPress menu called Product Menu to display our WooCommerce products, we want this menu to be our Mobile Menu and take over and remove the Primary Menu.
We are switching using the Enfold Child Theme Options in Main Menu > General > Alternate Menu for Mobile.

June 22, 2021 at 3:42 pm #1306962Hey,
Thanks for contacting us!
You have modified /includes/helper-main-menu.php file on your child theme. Could you please update the file with a fresh copy from Enfold 4.8.3 and apply the changes you made on it once again? You may need to update footer.php file as well.
Best regards,
YigitJune 22, 2021 at 7:43 pm #1307013Thanks, Yigit.
I just updated the helper-main-menu.php and made the changes we made. I had updated the footer previously when we updated to 4.8.3, so that is all caught up.
The Primary main menu now changes on Mobile, but nothing shows from the menu. I tried Secondary Menu and Footer Menu and the mobile menu still shows blank. I switched to Do Not Use Alternate Menu and the Primary Menu did show.
Thanks.
June 24, 2021 at 5:09 am #1307239Hi,
Thanks for the update. I tried logging in to your site, but the details don’t seem to be working anymore:
Error
Incorrect username or passwordEither no user with the given username could be found, or the password you gave was wrong. Please check the username and try again.
Please check and verify the login details.
Best regards,
RikardJune 24, 2021 at 6:00 pm #1307344Sorry about that, another developer put a redirect from our SSO on. In Private Content, I sent you new credentials that I verified are working and was able to login.
June 26, 2021 at 5:25 am #1307484Hi,
Thanks for the update. I see the same problem with the menu on my end as well unfortunately. Are we allowed to update helper-main-menu.php to see if that helps? Are you making any changes to that file? If you could share FTP login details in private as well, then that would be appreciated.
Best regards,
RikardJune 28, 2021 at 3:53 pm #1307769You can edit the helper-main-menu file. We’re not currently making changes to that file.
