    Hi,

    I have recently taken over the management of the website. We have recently moved away from our host/dev team who also installed the enfold theme onto our site.

    Yesterday the following warning message came up across the site:

    Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/customer/www/hygienicconcepts.co.uk/public_html/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/slideshow_layerslider/slideshow_layerslider.php on line 28

    As I do not have the purchase code to register and the support from the dev team who installed the theme I do not really know how to fix the warning.

    Is there any way you could help or advise as to what I should do to fix the issue?

    Hi Matt,

    Thanks for contacting us!

    You are currently using an older version of the theme which is not compatible with your WordPress version. Updating the theme would fix the issue.

    Please refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/ and update Enfold to the latest version 4.8.3.

    Then, please generate a Personal Token by referring to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#how-to-generate-a-envato-personal-token and insert it in Enfold theme options to receive auto updates :)

    If you have any other questions or issues, please register to our support forum – https://kriesi.at/support/register/ using your purchase code and start new threads under Enfold sub forum :)

    Hi Yigit,

    Thank you for your quick response!

    I have followed the above and my enfold theme is saying “No Updates available. You are running the latest version! (4.5.7).”

    How can I update enfold to 4.8.3?

    Hey Matt,

    It seems like you have not enabled auto updates by inserting your Personal Token in Enfold theme options. Please refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-registration/#how-to-generate-a-envato-personal-token and do so and you should receive the update and then update the theme from WordPress dashboard.

    If you would like to manually update the theme, you would need to login on ThemeForest with the account you purchased Enfold and go to Downloads page.

    If you do not have access to that ThemeForest account, please contact the person who purchased the theme and request this info or updated version of the theme from them. If that is not going to be possible, I am afraid you would need to purchase a new license.

    Hi Yigit,

    Hope you’re all good.

    I have inserted the personal token into the enfold theme options but cannot see the option to enable auto-updates.

    I have also installed the Envato market plugin. From the plugin I can see the update but when I try updating it says updating failed the theme is at the latest version.

    I have also downloaded the theme from ThemeForest, however, we are having issues when connecting via FTP. FTP is going to be the solution isn’t it :/

    I checked your website and it still seems like updates are disabled.

    Could you please create temporary admin logins and post them here privately so we can look into it? :)

    Hi Matt,

    I am not really sure why it threw “theme is up-to-date” error. I had the same issue on another users installation however trying for the second time I was able to update the theme through Envato market plugin.

    I updated the theme to the latest version manually and that helped. Please review your website :)
