Tagged: easy slider, fullwidth
Hello, after upgrading to 4.8.2 my “hero” images on my pages in Fullwidth Easy Slider are no longer full width. They used to go edge-to-edge. They are now limited to the container width. Also, they now have 50 px of padding-top and padding-bottom and it did not used to have that. I’m trying to figure out how to remove the padding without affecting other elements in .content.
Thanks
Hey jonhedges,
Thank you for the inquiry.
In the home page, the full width slider is still fullwidth, but not in the post. Did you add the slider as shortcode inside the default editor? Please post the login details in the private field so that we could check the issue properly.
Best regards,
Ismael
I thought I posted a follow up reply the day after I submitted this…I posted a reply, it must have vanished. I changed the home page from using Fullwidth Easy Slider to using a color section with a background image. I wanted you to know that if you look at the home page it no longer shows the problem.
Some pages that DO still have Fullwidth Easy Slider, that all had it showing as full-width and without padding prior to upgrading to 4.8.2:

I have not added any shortcode.
Hi,
Thanks for the update. The problem goes away when the parent theme is activated, so the problem is coming from your child theme. I see that you are overriding some shortcodes in the child, could you try copying what you need to override from the parent theme, then apply your customisations again after that please?
Best regards,
