Will a new license update v. 4.2.6 to v. 4.8.2? We migrated LIBoatRentals.com from Network Solutions to GoDaddy. The previous website developer did not change the ThemeForest API key to the Envato Personal Token and the theme stopped being updated at v. 4.2.6. As it turns out, she did in fact get they Personal Token in 2/2018 but never performed the change and it looks like the credit may have expired in 2/2019. The Enfold theme is no longer able to be updated using the ThemeForest API key under the original license. The original license for the Enfold theme that was purchased through ThemeForest needed to be re-registered with Envato in order to be updated to 4.8.2. Originally Enfold theme updates used the ThemeForest API key for validation but they retired that at version 4.4.1 and now the theme requires an Envato Personal Token for updates. I purchased the latest theme for our new website, ElixirYacht.com, under a new name. If changing the license holder and buying a new license would fix it, that would be great. Right now the pages look like code in a blog editor and I do not have access to the Avia advanced editor.
Hi Kathryn,
Thanks for contacting us!
Will a new license update v. 4.2.6 to v. 4.8.2? Yes, it should allow update to the latest version.
We can check on it however, I would suggest that you register first on our forum: https://kriesi.at/support/register/
Once you have done that, you can create a new thread in https://kriesi.at/support/forum/enfold/#new-topic-0
Then in private content, post the credentials so we can inspect your site and try to fix it.
Best regards,
Nikko
