Hi, we have an issue with latest versions of Enfold which block us from updating the theme for one of our client. The client is using a Grid row layout element with images inside each cell as a quick link to different sections on the website. Each image uses a caption and a “slightly increase the image size” on hover effect. Here’s the page with the element – right under the slider: https://www.studio21.sk.
As you can see, the image is correctly increased after the hover, red overlay with caption is displayed, no problem whatsoever.
However, when we tried to update to a most recent version, the behavior changed and the image overflows the grid cell. Here is the full description of the issue with an example – running on the latest Enfold version, but we could see it on the previous versions as well
This page is protected by a password (you can find it under the Private Content field.
Could you please let me know how to fix this issue?
Thanks!
Boris

I’m not able to view the page you linked to unfortunately, I’m seeing this message:

please try again. It should be working now.

BorisMay 12, 2021 at 11:24 am #1299885Hi,
You have to set the image element’s Image Hover effect to the third option (Yes, slightly zoom the image) to prevent the image from overflowing. It is probably set to the second option (Yes, slightly increase the image size) right now.
Best regards,
IsmaelMay 12, 2021 at 5:36 pm #1299973Hi Ismael, thanks for the tip, the issue is resolved. It looks like this option wasn’t available in the previous versions and the upgrade caused the zoom option (prevously called “slightly increase on hover”) to convert to the increase option… It would make more sense if the upgrade kept the original behaviour and didn’t change it…
Thanks anyway, we’ll do the upgrade and change the image hover behavior manually.
You can close this ticket.
