    Hi all,

Re the new feature “Performance feature: added scrset and sizes attributes to lightbox images( magnificPopup )
    – theme option to activate/disable feature”….

I’m not sure what this does but assume it speeds up page loading on mobile?

Anyway, I enabled this for my site and when I looked at masonry galleries on mobile, after the first few photos of the “slide show” in the lightbox, the photos stop appearing and you just see “5 of 72………………….. 6 of 72……” etc. These photos have captions so maybe that’s throwing it off.

Not a big deal, I turned the feature off, but thought you should know.

    Best,
    Rob

    Hey goldengate415,

    Thank you for the info.

The lightbox srcset feature is still in beta mode as described in the options page, so issues should be expected. It adds the srcset attribute to the lightbox images so that the appropriate thumbnail size is used based on the size of the current screen. This improves performance because smaller images are loaded.

Is there a development or staging version of the site? Please post the site or page URL containing the lightbox so that we could check the issue further.

    Best regards,
    Ismael

That fix from Guenni007 solved the problems I was having with this much anticipated feature on my PHP 7.4 install. Now it is working perfecting for me.

Thanks all… this one’s not a burning issue for me and I’m swamped with work so will wait to enable until after it’s out of beta… just wanted to let you know there was an issue. Fine to close thread. Thanks!
