    Hi

    We already have a lot of Enfold websites, every few months we create a new one, and basically we are happy with it.

    But now we found out, that the websites look nice on desktop and mobile, but not on tablets. I think the problem is, that Enfold’s sizes are like that:

    large screens > 990 pixels
    medium screens >= 768 and <= 989 pixels
    small screens >= 480 and <= 767 pixels
    very small screens < 479 pixels

    The problem is, today, the tablets often have more than 990 pixels. So, it’s not possible to have different designs on desktops and tablets (landscape).

    That’s the reason why our websites look nice on desktops and mobiles, but not on tablets ;-(

    Can you help us? We need tricks, hints, help for optimizing our websites for that they look good on desktops, mobiles AND tablets ;-)

    Yes. When we create something, it looks almost nice on desktops and on smartphones (landscape and portrait).
    On tablets it looks sometimes nice in portrait format. But in landscape format on tablets it looks almost not so nice.
    See example in the private content section.
    So do you have any tricks, how it also looks nice in both tablet formats? Or is that impossible?

    Hi Mike,

    Thanks for the update. I’m still not sure I understand what you are referring to though, is it the background image of the person at a desk which you are referring to maybe? If not, then please try to explain a bit further, or post a screenshot highlighting the problem you are seeing on your end.

    This website was only an example.
    Our problem is, that the tablets in landscape have more pixels than a smartphone but less than a desktop.
    So, when we create something, it looks nice on smartphones (landscape and portrait), on desktops and on tablets (portrait), but not on tablets in landscape mode… because it is to small for the desktop view…
    And our question is, if you have any tricks or hints, how we have to design a website for that it looks nice on all formats? Or is this impossible?

    Hi Mike,

    Thanks for the update and clarification. I’m sure it’s possible to create sites which look good on all formats, but sometimes things need a bit of tweaking. We can’t really give you any general advice for tablet sizes, and we can’t give you any solutions unless we can see the actual problem.
