Hey everyone,
I’m fairly sure I’m not mistakingly recalling some “Related Product” sort of info snippets I came across while transforming a shop after installing the Enfold Demo. The thing is that as I’m new to the e-commerce world I didn’t pay much attention to them, but thought they came very in handy only to show same category items, for instance.
What happened is that soon after finishing the shop set-up, I realised they were gone and I don’t have a clue what the cause was or even if they were real at all. Can anybody please confirm whether I was delirious while editing products or does this really exist? Just to clarify I’m not referring to the conventional related products feature inherited from the woo-commerce plugin, but some only text related product links which were automatically placed right underneath the product description.
Great thanks in advance.
Regards,
H
Hey Harold,
Thank you for the inquiry.
Are you referring to the related products section that is displayed in the following page?
// https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-shop/product/woman-blazer-anadra/
This section should automatically show up as long as you are using the default editor. The related products section will not automatically display when the Advance Layout Builder is active, but you can still add them using the Plugin Additions > Related Products element.
Best regards,
Ismael
Hi Ismael,
Sure, I’m referring to that exact page. The only text and links to related products were underneath any of the two description sections (can’t remember which one exactly), but they disappeared as I advanced in the shop customisation. Anyways, it’s not a big deal, I just thought they were very convenient and maybe easy to get back. Perhaps I made them show up because of the many confi adjustments a shop design goes through, so never mind.
Thanks a lot.
Regards,
H
