On the outside the website seems to work, but in the backend the pages are no longer editable. No editor appears. The page is exclusively white.
I urgently need to make some content changes before I then make a backup of the working website so that I can update WordPress and Enfold afterwards.

Please check the backend to see what the problem could be. Login data are available.

    Best regards,
    Anke

    Hi Anke,

Thanks for providing the admin access.
The backend is not exclusively white on my end but the Advanced Layout Builder is not loading the content, it seems there are lots of js errors showing in the web console.
I would suggest making a backup first and try to update to the latest version of Enfold and WordPress (as well as the plugins), the cause of the issue is most likely incompatibility.

    Best regards,
    Nikko

    Hi Nikko,

    thank you for your suggestions.
The latest updates have been completed (WordPress, Enfold, plugins and PHP 7.4) and the pages are editable in the backend again.

There was a problem in Chrome: the page was only up-to-date in the front- and backend after a hard cache clear (Ctrl + Shift + Del).
This is a problem that comes up again and again with Enfold in Chrome and is very unsatisfactory for my customers because they always think that the website has not been updated.
Can you please tell me how to solve this problem? For example, is there a specific setting in Enfold?

    Best regards,
    Anke

    Hi Anke,

Thanks for update. The problem in Chrome is not theme or platform specific, it’s local cache which we have no control over. You can try loading the page in an incognito window, that will load a non cached version of the site.

    Best regards,
    Rikard
