Text Block Formatting Icons are Gone

I have lost all the formatting icons in my Text Blocks. I need to be able to align, bold, underline, insert link, etc. These were working fine a couple of days ago.
I am using the Advanced Layout Editor – if someone tells me to use the Default or Classic Editor, I’ll just scream. The Advanced Layout Editor is part of Enfold and it needs to work properly, all the time.
When I insert text in a Text Block, I cannot see the text because it appears to be the same color as the white background (or perhaps it’s transparent). I can only see it if I highlight the text.
The inserted text is not showing up in the Element Preview window.
When trying to change the background color of the Element Preview window to see if it’s a text color issue, the background will not respond or change in the preview.

This may be unrelated but my Color Blocks will no longer update either. I cannot add a background image like I could a few days ago. When choosing a background image, either from the media library, or uploading a new image, then saving changes, the changes are not saved or shown.

I have other sites using the same (current) version of Enfold and they do not have this issue.
