Hi,
I’m using the Enfold theme. I upgraded WordPress and the transparent header on scroll broke. I opened a topic about this a few months ago.
I was instructed to use jQuery migrate to fix this, and upgrade the theme. I installed the plugin, and have now had the time to install the latest version of the theme (March 2021 date in readme file).
The theme still doesn’t work with the jQuery migrate plugin. I don’t want to keep getting the jQuery migrate reminders, so is there a permanent fix?
Thanks!
April 6, 2021 at 5:44 pm #1292861Hey danieljlevin,
Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.
- Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
- Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
- Click ” Create New “.
- Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
( to be sure that we have enough time to debug ). - Click ” Submit “.
- You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.
When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.Best regards,

April 8, 2021 at 6:26 am #1293174Hi,
Thanks for that. I see the same problem on your site, but this problem is fixed in the version you are running, so I’m not sure why it’s happening. Could you try disabling all plugins, to see if that changes anything please? If not, then please share FTP login details with us as well, so that we can try to upload a fresh copy of the theme for you.
Best regards,
Rikard1April 10, 2021 at 6:22 pm #1293673Hi,
I have disabled every plugin and the problem still exists.
The version of the theme is 4.8.1 which is March 2021. I updated the theme by deleting the entire Enfold folder and then uploading the new theme folder.
It is difficult to give FTP access as it is hosted in Lighsail.
It seems like in the console it is still giving Jquery Migrate messages. Can you take a look at that? Moreover, there’s a version of jquery migrate in the wp-includes. Could that be causing a problem?
Thanks,
April 12, 2021 at 2:18 am #1293816Hi danieljlevin,
I could not see any js errors but could see the issue you we’re referring.
It does not seem to be plugin issue but caching, I have disabled Enable jQuery Migrate Helper plugin and disabled Javascript file merging and compression and it seems to work properly.Best regards,
