Hi there, we have a website https://www.sofrwithease.com/ where we are using ENFOLD. For some reason, any forms (wheather from our custom plugin shortcode or even conatct form 7) are redirecting to some to default blog page upon submission specifically from the homepage. It only works in a senario when we add our shortcode in a widget under DISPLAY EVERYWHERE sidebar. The shortcode form doesn even work if i place it in a widget under any other sidebar.

We are hosted on WP ENGINE and using all updated plugins and themes.

Can you help me understand what is happening?

    Hey vinayb,
Sorry for the very late reply and thank you for your patience. I tried the form on your homepage and I was redirected to another page /cap-valuation-calculator-results/ but this seems correct since the object of the form was to give a result, so I don’t believe I was able to recreate your error. Can you include some screenshots or links to explain further?

    Best regards,
    Mike

This form you see currently on the website is added via widget and the only way it is working. The issue is that… any other form, any other way of using the same form (via shortcode etc), the form is redirecting to the default blog page. Currently, i was able to make the form working when i included the form shortcode in a widget and added the widget to the homepage.

So even if i try using a from plugin like contact form 7, it is redirecting to default blog page. This is happening only on the homepage. Initially we thought it is a cache issue and we contacted WP Engine but they said i should contact the theme author. We are using the latest WP with latest Enfold with PHP7.4.

    Please guide.

    Hi,
Sorry I am unable to recreate a form submit redirect on my localhost, try looking at your WordPress > Settings > Reading > Your homepage displays and compare with your Enfold Theme Options > Theme Options > Frontpage Settings, perhaps these two options are working against each other, also check if you have a Custom Error 404 Page or Maintenance Mode set in the theme options, or if you ever have, if you used to have one of these setting you will need to un-select the option before disabling it and then save your theme options.

    Best regards,
    Mike
