    I have taken over maintenance of a website at https://sumrallfamilydental.com that uses a custom template but is apparently based on Enfold 3.1.3 (original developer is unknown). I can’t update PHP from version 5.6 without breaking it, otherwise it works fine. Is there a direct upgrade from this old version, or would it be more involved? Thanks for any info.

    Hey Steve,

    Thanks for contacting us!

    You can update from that version and it should be just fine. You may need to re-configure some settings such as header and widget areas and you may need to update the files such as header.php and footer.php if those are modified on the child theme. If not, you can simply go ahead and update the theme :)
