Tagged: shrinking header
Hi there,
We’re having some trouble with a logo displaying at its shrinking header height at the top of the page. Can you help us identify where the set value (58px) is coming from, and how we can address the issue?
Thanks!
Hi jaimemerz,
The value is coming from a js script.
Please try to uncheck Shrinking Header in Enfold > Header > Header Behavior (tab).
Hope this helps.
Best regards,
Nikko
What if I want to keep the shrinking header, but have the logo shrink in size rather than remain at 58px?
Hi jaimemerz,
There’s no option for that but the logo should shrink up to 1/2 of the normal logo height.
Best regards,
Nikko
Hi Nikko,
I don’t think I’ve explained this well so far… when I have the shrinking header enabled, it always displays the shrunken height of 58px—whether I’ve scrolled down the page or not. How can I fix this so it displays at 100% of its height and only shrinks to 58px after scrolling?
Hi jaimemerz,
Thanks, it seems the issue is you have an old version of Enfold version of Enfold (4.5.7) which is not compatible with WordPress 5.7.
Please update Enfold to the latest version (4.8.1) and make sure to have a backup first.
To temporarily resolve the issue on your site, I have installed and activated Enable jQuery Migrate Helper plugin and set jQUery version to Legacy 1.12.4-wp.
Once you update to the latest version, you can remove this plugin.
Best regards,
Nikko
