    Hi there,

I’ve migrated a website, built with the Enfold theme, to a new domain.
I’ve done this – like I usually do – via FTP.

But now I’m getting a critical error, and I can’t access the site.

    The log reads:

    Error Details
    =============
An error of type E_PARSE was caused in line 409 of the file …/wp-content/themes/enfold/config-templatebuilder/avia-shortcodes/contentslider.php. Error message: syntax error, unexpected ‘V’ (T_STRING), expecting :: (T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM)

    Thanks for your help.

    Alex

I’m updating the theme now via FTP. Maybe this will fix it…

Ok. I did the update but it didn’t help.

    This looks not good.

    Update:

I did transfer all the files again, and this time it worked.
Don’t know what the problem was.

    All the best

    Hey Alex,

You were using a very old version of Enfold, which was probably not compatible with your PHP or WordPress versions. The final FTP upload probably overwrote old files with the new ones correctly and fixed the issue :)

Glad it is working fine now! Please let us know if you have any other questions or issues and enjoy the rest of your day!

    Regards,
    Yigit
