We had a company design our site and they used the Enfold Theme. I would like to purchase support. Do I have to purchase the theme even though we already have it?
I also wanted to ask if Elementor causes conflicts with Enfold. One of our editors added that plug in and I am not sure if that is the cause of a JQuery conflict. Your guidance is greatly appreciated.
March 12, 2021 at 3:29 pm #1287715Hey,
Thanks for contacting us!
Do you have access to ThemeForest account which was used when purchasing the theme? If so, you do not need to purchase another license. You can simply go to Downloads page to download the latest version, 4.8.1 and update the theme.
I see that you are currently using Enfold 4.7.5 which is not compatible with your WordPress version. Updating the theme would bring up compatibility and fix jQuery issues :)
I hope that helps! Let us know if you have any other questions!
Cheers!

March 12, 2021 at 4:01 pm #1287735Hey,
Yes, you can. Please refer to this post – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/ to update Enfold to the latest version 4.8.1.
You can then register to our support forum – https://kriesi.at/support/register/ using your purchase code and start new threads under Enfold sub forum :)
Best regards,
YigitMarch 12, 2021 at 4:47 pm #1287772I followed all of those instructions entering a token and it was accepted. However, I do not get an option to update the theme. It says that the theme is up to date. A child theme is currently active. Usually I can update inactive themes if one is available. Enfold is not showing an update needed.

You can install the Envato Market Plugin and try to update with it.
Here is the link for you:

Well, there is some sort of conflict.
Please deactivate all plugins one by one to check which one is causing this issue and let us know if this solves the problem.
Best regards,
VictoriaMarch 13, 2021 at 4:09 pm #1288027Tabitha BarnetteGuestI think the conflict is with the Enfold theme. I deactivated all plug ins, then reactivated Elementor & Elementor Pro. I still could not open the pages through the editor. I was thinking having two editors would eventually cause a problem. However some of our editors liked a few features of Elementor better.
March 15, 2021 at 10:21 pm #1288400Is there any update on this conflict. I have updated everything and I am still getting the error “Conflict with another plugin which overwrites jQuery”
I can no longer use Elementor so I am not sure if this is the conflict.
March 17, 2021 at 10:21 am #1288680Hi,
Sorry for the late reply. The theme has no support for Elementor unfortunately, but I’ve seen installations where it seems to run without any problems. I’m not sure if the theme is to blame for the problem you are having, but it doesn’t “overwrite jQuery”, it’s using the default WordPress version of jQuery. I wanted to check your plugins, but the account you sent us doesn’t have admin rights. If you want us to have a closer look, then please upgrade the account to have administrator rights.
If you don’t absolutely have to use Elementor, then I would advise that you stick to the Enfold Layout builder. It can handle most types of layouts, and is easy to use. If you want to make minor changes to your layouts, then we can hopefully help you out on the support forum.
Best regards,
