    Hi,

    We have some videos in youtube that are unlisted, so we can embed them in our website but they should only be visible to payed users. This part is done.

    The unlisted youtube video’s are embedded in the website with the ‘video’ tools. There are settings to remove the controls, but we noticed that in the bottom right corner there is a link to view the video in youtube. This way people can view the video in youtube and share to link to everyone. This is not what we need. How can we make sure the video is not available to open in youtube?

    Please advise.

    Any news / support for the question above?

    We have a page where movies are visible only to logged users.
    We uploaded some movies to the website but noticed that with right click the movies can be opened in another window. thus people can share the link or download the movie. How can we prevent this?

    Hi hotspot,

    Please post us your login credentials (in the “private data” field), so we can take a look at your backend.

    1. Install and activate ” Temporary Login Without Password “.
    2. Go to ” Users > Temporary Logins ” on the left-side menu.
    3. Click ” Create New “.
    4. Add the email address for the account ( you can use (Email address hidden if logged out) ), as well as the ” Role ” making that the highest possible and the expiry about four days
      ( to be sure that we have enough time to debug ).
    5. Click ” Submit “.
    6. You’ll now have a temporary account. Please provide us here in the private section the URL, so we can login and help you out.

    When your issue is fixed, you can always remove the plugin!
    If you prefer to not use the plugin, you can manually create an admin user and post the login credentials in the “private data” field.

    Also post the specific links where this issues appear.

    Hi Nikko,

    Thank for the prompt reply.

    Im aware how to make a user for you no worries. But i dont really understand why you would need it to answer the questions we have,

    This is just basic information / technical stuff, nothing to do with our installation:
    – Right click on a movie in your browser gives the option to load the image/video in a new page.
    – The same for the YouTube video. How van we remove all the share options for the youtube video. And deactivate the option for users to open it in another window. Also keep in mind that iframe is not an option due to theme and responsiveness limitations

    BTW the page takes ages to load with the imported video’s in it. And we set the video to not load (only after user interaction. I find it strange that it takes at least 30sec to load this page.

    Nevertheless i created a login for you, please keep in mind that we have a lot of users visiting the private video page. Also webinars are active, so please do not make any changes or deactivate plugins or change settings.

    Looking forward to your info to solve this.

    Hi hotspot,

    I apologize for the delayed response.
    The youtube link in the video could not be hidden.
    I believe the best video hosting site that suits your need is vimeo since it has options for privacy as well as options to allow videos only in certain domains.
