    some thoughts on performance tools.
on former times i prefer to use gtmetrix to get good information on performance values of a website.
Since they changed some inner Test routines i can not believe that the same page which has before A, and B now D and C ??
( GTmetrix is now powered by Lighthouse – Learn more about our move to Lighthouse.)

They do check the sites via Lighthouse – but that is something f.e.: the chrome browser has allready implemented – so have a look what a difference it is between left : Gtmetrix and right chrome: lighthouse values ???
click to enlarge: ( in red the values a little bigger that you can read it without a magnifier)

So please do not despair if now suddenly a page is rated badly at GTMetrix. Just judge by it – how you feel if your page loads well and fast or not.
They still give good tips on how to improve the performance (by the way, the Chrome Lighthouse does that too).

I’ve noticed this as well! It used to be easier to score highly in GT Metrix but now it is harder than using other Google approved methods.

    I’ve found: Mobile Testing:

Lighthouse – Gives higher scores than the others
    Page Speed Insights – Lower
Web.vitals – Same test as page speed – Lower
GT Metrix – Latest version – Lowest
