    After updating wordpress we now have a blank text editor when trying to post/update. You can type in the box but it appears white text on white background, with none of the text editor buttons loading. Tried in the newest versions of Chrome and Edge.

    We are getting these javascript errors which might be related, they seem new as of this update as well.

    You’re running a very old version of the theme (3.5.3), you need to update it to the latest version.

    thank you for your reply, will the update cause me to lose my settings and preferences in the enfold theme?
    do I have to switch back to version 5.5 of wordpress?

    I did a backup then updated the theme and overwrote the old one with the newest one and that worked for me.
