Hi @yigit
the Vimeo video – which had before started to play ON MY website now just opens the link in a new tab.
This is definitely not what i want and it changed somewhen in the last time.
I removed it from my website since i dont want users seeing that desastrous behaviour. Here is the code:
[av_slideshow_full size='no scaling' min_height='0px' stretch='image_no_stretch' control_layout='av-control-default' src='' attachment='' attachment_size='' position='top left' repeat='no-repeat' attach='scroll' conditional_play='' animation='slide' transition_speed='' autoplay='false' interval='5' lazy_loading='disabled' id='' custom_class='' av_uid='av-126rsovn']
[av_slide_full slide_type='video' id='' video='https://vimeo.com/.................' mobile_image='14400' fallback_link='https://' title='' video_format='' video_ratio='' video_autoplay='aviaTBaviaTBvideo_autoplay' caption_pos='caption_right caption_right_framed caption_framed' custom_title_size='' av-medium-font-size-title='' av-small-font-size-title='' av-mini-font-size-title='' custom_content_size='' av-medium-font-size='' av-small-font-size='' av-mini-font-size='' font_color='' custom_title='' custom_content='' heading_tag='' heading_class='' link_apply='' link='lightbox' link_target='' button_label='' button_color='light' link1='manually,https://' link_target1='' button_label2='' button_color2='light' link2='manually,https://' link_target2='' overlay_opacity='0.1' overlay_color='' overlay_pattern='' overlay_custom_pattern='' av_uid='av-1bm39gz'][/av_slide_full]
[/av_slideshow_full]Please tell me which settings make the video play ON MY website.
March 9, 2021 at 2:54 pm #1286746Hey Marcus,
Thanks for contacting us!
Which version of Enfold are you using? If not the latest 4.8.1, could you please update the theme and check if that helps – https://kriesi.at/documentation/enfold/theme-update/?
This version of Enfold fixes jQuery issues caused in WP 5.6.x and it sounds like a jQuery issue. Please let us know if that does not help.
Best regards,
YigitMay 6, 2021 at 2:22 pm #1298791Hi Yigit
WP: 5.7.1
Enfold:4.8.1The settingsf for the vimeovideo are correct, no restrictions on that end.
Video does still not play, it just links.
And it just shows a black surface with that triangle playsymbol….no preview.
When i add another video: Same problem
I can add whatever video i want – it does not change anything.AND,,,,i used this element on other URLs also to show Videos, and they all dont work anymore.
Black, no preview, dont play, just link.kind regards
MarcusEDIT:
If i take the code and put it into another installation i get another weird situation:
The screen says “Invalid embed code” although it is just a simple video URL like vimeo.com/12345676
You maybe want to check if Enfold and Vimeo still workThe settings of the video are correct:

May 11, 2021 at 8:31 am #1299591Hi,
Thank you for the inquiry.
The videos do not play automatically because of the privacy options, which block the scripts until the user decided to enable or allow external videos or services. You have to set the Enfold > Privacy & Cookies > Cookie Handling > Default Cookie Behavior settings to the first or second option if you want the video to autoplay, without user consent.
Best regards,
IsmaelMay 14, 2021 at 1:42 pm #1300324Hello Ismael,
I DONT want the video to AUTOPLAY.
This is not what we are talking about..
I want a user to click on “play”, then the video starts, but it does not play, it linksEven if i disable autoplay in the settings of the slide….it does not solve the issue

Thank you for the clarification. This is still an issue with the privacy options, which prevents videos from playing directly in the site when the privacy option is not accepted. Try to disable the privacy options temporarily or we suggested previously, try to set the Default Cookie Behavior to the first or second option, remove the cache and check the page again. The video should play directly in the site then without opening an external link.
Best regards,
