    Experienced WordPress developer and designer here. Client came to me with pre-built site (not by me) and wanted me to fix some things. One issue was jump-links won’t work on some pages. Page in qustion is here:

    SERVICES

    Trying to add links from the icon list to the text detail of each service below the page. I’ve tried traditional ways or adding code, tried adding the custom IDs etc. etc. The problem is clicking the links doesn’t scroll the page to the lower section. HOWEVER…if you just copy and paste in the same URL that is getting clicked, it does end up at the correct page section.

    I’ve spent an hour trying to figure this out and only thing I can think is scrolling it disabled in a theme setting somewhere (but where)? Love your themes (the very first theme I ever purchased was from Kriesi over a decade ago) but this one is killing me.

    Yes..disabled plugins one by one…same issue. Tried on different WP theme using traditional code and worked (but of course none of the Enfold elements were involved).

    Thanks for you help. So to summarize…want to create a link no the 4 service icon/list words that jump down to the sections with detail text about each.

    Hey Chris,

    Thanks for contacting us!

    I created a private copy of your page but I could not figure out what exactly is wrong yet. There is no option to disable smooth scroll so this just seems like a bug.

    Do you have a testing environment where we could test further and maybe update WordPress and Enfold to the latest dev version? If not, can we try activating Enfold parent theme temporarily for testing purposes? :)

    Yes I just spun up a copy of the site that you can edit to your hearts desire. Same login information as above.
    Let me know what you find.

    Hi,

    Thank you for the inquiry.

    We are not yet sure why the smoothscroll function is not working, so we disabled it temporarily from the js > avia.js file.

    //smooth scrooling
if($.fn.avia_smoothscroll)

    The anchor links are now working, but smooth scrolling is gone. We will let you know once we have found the issue.
