Which settings are you using in the Layout menu on the page? You could try installing this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper/, then set the jQuery version to 1.12.4 in the plugin options, to see if that changes anything. Also remember to clear the cache from your caching plugin.

cleared the cache. the plugin works. but that cant be the solution because i dont want to install and external plugin to use enfold. is this a bug? will this problemn be solved in future updates?
