I’m having some problems getting the logo in my header to display correctly. Here’s the page http://www.freewriterscompanion.com/
I’d like the header to look like this demo page https://kriesi.at/themes/enfold-health-coach/ (but without the transparent background).
The two main problems are
1) logo is far too small (I’ve made a logo exactly the same size as the demo)
2) I want the menu items to be on the right hand sideI’ve had a go at fixing these but with no luck. Many thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Please send us a temporary WordPress admin login and login URL so that we can have a closer look. You can post the details in the Private Content section of your reply.

Thanks! I’ve created a temporary admin and pasted the link into the private window for you.
Really appreciate your help with this.February 9, 2021 at 10:02 am #1278979Hi,
Thanks for that. The problem with the menu not floating to the right seems to be coming from your child theme CSS file. Could you try to remove all your customisations in there, then add them back one by one, to see which CSS is causing the problem please?
Logo; there is a lot of white space at the top and bottom of the image, could you try to edit that out, then upload the image again please?

RikardFebruary 9, 2021 at 2:34 pm #1279077Hi Rikard,
I uploaded a logo with less white space. Then I temporarily deleted everything from Quick CSS on General Styling but I’m sorry to say the logo still looks wrong: too small and in the wrong place.
Is there some more, hidden, CSS that is conflictng, perhaps?
Any help would be welcome; I’m really stumped!
Thanks.
February 9, 2021 at 8:42 pm #1279219Hi Bryn1,
It’s the usual logo on that demo, so you did not need to add all the css you added for the logo. Please comment it out and check if that is the desired look.

VictoriaFebruary 9, 2021 at 10:43 pm #1279264Hi Victoria
Thanks so much for taking a look.
Are you able to tell me where you’re seeing custom css that’s been added for the logo?
I can’t see anything in the Quick CSS box that references the header or logo (and have tried removing everything in there with no success anyway).
Thanks
February 10, 2021 at 9:19 am #1279330Hi,
The CSS is coming from your child theme style.css file, please look under Appearance->Theme Editor->style.css

RikardFebruary 11, 2021 at 12:26 am #1279625Thank you, Rikard, that’s really useful. I’ve now found the css in Theme Editor.
After some trial deletions, I’ve managed to get the menu to float right when the website is open in a private window.
The logo is still too small but I’ll keep experimenting, and let you know how it goes.
Thanks so much for not giving up on this!February 12, 2021 at 2:25 pm #1280041Hi Bryn1,
Do you need any more help on this one or you can take it from here?

VictoriaFebruary 15, 2021 at 1:51 pm #1280525It’s all sorted and I’m very grateful for the brilliant support.
I edited out the added css in Appearance->Theme Editor, re-made a logo that was exactly 560X156 pixels with no white space around it then uploaded into EnfoldChild->Theme Options, and it’s looking great.
Many thanks to the team, especially Rikard, for your help.
